Homogenizer: Flow rates of .8 to 4 Lpm
We offer homogenizers designed to be integrated directly with our processors. Their flow rates are matched to the flow rate of the system with which they are being used.
They offer:
-multiple pistons for smooth product flow,
-two homogenization stages
-a range of homogenization pressure
These homogenizers enable a fully closed continuous thermal process to be conducted in your lab.

Ultra-Clean Fill Hood              [click for larger view]........................TOP

MicroThermics Clean Fill Hoods provide the means to simulate aseptic filling in the lab. 
These hoods include our Sterile Product Outlet (SPO) option. 
The SPO provides the ability to sterilize the processor AND  the product outlets before processing product. 
The product outlets are located within the HEPA hood. 
This enables the researcher to fill products through sterile outlets within an ultra-clean environment.

Data Acquisition System       .......................................................TOP

MicroThermics proudly offers Fluke Hydra Data Loggers and software as well as our own data analysis software. 
These data loggers have 21 programmable channels and are easily connected to a PC. 
Programmed at our factory, they will record temperatures, pressures, and pump speed for your entire processor. 
This data can be graphed in real time (with available software), printed for records, or used for computer analysis of the process.

Automatic Fill Control            ..........................................TOP

Our Automatic Fill Control is a set of two product outlet valves that are controlled by a programmable timer. 
Based on the flow rate, the user programs the fill-time for each port individually. 
This enables samples to be filled to uniform levels for trade show/demonstration samples or for analysis after processing. 
This device makes hot filling safer, and when used with our Clean-Fill Hood, it reduces hand movement within the hood,
and may reduce the chance of contamination.

Dual Cooler                                   .....................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.TOP

Many products need to be cooled to refrigerated temperatures or need an added unit operation, such as homogenization,
to be performed between two coolers. 
To fill these needs, an added internal product cooler is available with most of our processors. 
These added coolers have separate utility connections, temperature adjustments,
and product inlet and outlet ports on the processor's central jumper panel. 
Thus, this cooler can be used as needed to customize each process or bypassed completely when not needed.

Custom Hold Tubes                 .......................................................TOP

In addition to bacterial reduction, retaining a product at a specific time and temperature can be used for a
variety of applications such as starch hydration or flavor development. 
MicroThermics offers a wide variety of standard hold times with our equipment. 
However, we also offer custom internal and external hold tubes to meet each client's specific requirements. 
Our external hold tubes can be added to a processor at any time. 
They are designed to take up minimal space and can be as short as 1 second or al long as 10 minutes (or longer!).

In-Line Flow Meter ................ .......................................................TOP

The In-Line Flow Meter provides accurate measurement of the product flow rate. Our Flow Meter (IFM) can be connected nearly anywhere in your process and provides a convenient output display. The remote display can be mounted on a stand or integrated into a system during assembly.

Inlet Funnel System ................ .........................................TOP

MicroThermics Inlet Funnel System (IFS) provides a constant supply of water or product to your processor. If the level of product (or water) in one of its funnels drops to the low level sensor, it is automatically re-filled with city water preventing the system from being accidentally run dry.

Plate Heat Exchanger Module ...... (click image for larger view)

When put in-line, this module enables the research to select plate or tubular heat exchangers for heating and cooling the product. In addition, because of the plate heat exchangers design, the number of passes and amount of heat exchange area can be easily modified. This module is designed to sit to the right of the sink on the main processor’s counter top, and is capable of full HTST and UHT temperatures.
