DESCRIPTION

• Provides consistent, product flow up to 4 Lpm for wide range of products up to 175 PSI.

• Uses electric or steam heated hot water as heating medium. Temperature range: 140°-250°F (60°-121° C).

• Final Heater* -Hot water or steam heat.*

• Hot Water Control* -Provides additional temperature range control.

• Hold Tubes* -Processors generally include 2, 3 or 5 hold tubes with multiple combined hold times (2-120 sec.).*

• Product Cooler -Cools product to fill temperature as needed.

• Coolant Control -Provides ability to control cooling temperature by adjusting flow of cooling medium.

• Jumper Panel -Enables bypassing of unneeded components or inclusion of external processes to customize each test run.

• Pinch Valve -Back pressure valve used to maintain product pressure above its vapor pressure to prevent boiling.

• Lab Bench Enclosure -Convenient wheeled, stainless steel lab bench enclosure with sink, faucet and raised edge to contain spills.

• Spare Parts Kit -Provides needed spare parts to keep processor operating for an average of 12 to 18 months.

• Tool Kit -Provides all needed tools to conduct regular maintenance for MicroThermics processing equipment.

• Temperature Displays* -1 or 2 displays with 3 or 4 moveable product and 2 utility temperature sensors. Multiple sensors available.

• Pressure Displays* -1 or 2 moveable pressure sensors with displays standard. Multiple sensors available.

• Technical Support -Full technical support and processing advice provided by knowledgeable, experienced staff.

DESCRIPTION

• Added Cooler -Adds cooling capacity and enables multiple cooling steps for incorporation of other process operations.

• Added Instrumentation -Additional displays, sensors and custom sensors available for customization of processors.

• Added Pressure Sensors -Pressure sensors can be added anywhere in-line and connected to our data acquisition system.

• Added Thermocouples -Temperature sensors can be added anywhere in-line and connected to our data acquisition system.

• Automatic Fill Control -Programmable timer controls 2 product outlets for uniform sample filling (often used w/ Clean Fill Hood).

• Clean Fill Hood -Includes Sterile Product Outlet. Laminar flow HEPA hood provides sterile environment for filling.

• Deaerators/Defoamers -Used in-line, these removes gasses or foam from products using integral vacuum chamber and pumps.

• Flow Meter/Control -In-line flow meter, can be used with our control loop to control product flow rate.

• Hold Tubes-Custom -Custom designed internal or external insulated hold tubes.

• Homogenizer Access -Required for incorporation of in-line homogenizer.

• Homogenizer, In-Line -Vari-speed, 2 stage, homogenizers have 2 or more pistons and pressures of 5800 PSI (standard) or higher.

• Hydration Loop -Enables in-line hydration of starches for thickening of products (standard on some models).

• PLC/Data Acquisition -PLC controls with on-board manual and data logging.

• Plate Heat Exchangers -Fully customizeable with multiple paths and passes.

• ProCalc Software -Calculates alternate processes based on hold time and temperature variables input by researcher.

• Process Consulting -Advanced process analysis and consulting for your research and development needs.

• Steam Injection -Final heating of product with direct steam injection and cooling with vacuum and indirect coolers.

• Sterile Product Outlet -Enables pre-process sterilization of processor and outlets.

• Utility Access -Enables incorporation of external heat exchangers using internal controls and heat/cooling medium.

• Utilities-heating/cooling -Culinary steam generators (electric) and Chill water generators to support processing equipment.

• Viscous Product Inlet -Enables feeding of very viscous products directly into product pump (can be used with standard inlet).
