Introduction
MicroThermics® Bantam Series are all electric, ultra-miniature UHT/HTST (Ultra High Temperature & High Temperature Short Time) processing systems. They combine the most popular features of our full-size systems, with even lower flow rates, into a more compact design. These models are extremely flexible and simple to operate. They utilize hot water as the heating medium for both the pre and final heaters. Thus, they can do single and two heating stage HTST and UHT processing as well as hot filling and other continuous cooking processes (depending upon the model). They also have many other features including; two internal hold tubes, a central connection panel (that enables each process to be completely customized), an internal product cooler and all-electric installation eliminating the need for a boiler. Finally, these processors have an extensive upgrade path to support the addition of steam injection, alternate hold tubes, data acquisition systems, in-line homogenization, ultra-clean filling and more!
